Health Coaching Advanced Skills - 4 Day Course

The Health Coaching Advanced Skills programme is PCI Accredited and aligns with the 2023 Workforce Development Framework giving you the reassurance of a quality learning experience that meets the needs of new and experienced Health & Well-Being Coaches.

Join us for an online training programme covering 8 modules over 4 days giving Health & Well-Being Coaches the knowledge, skills and confidence to work effectively in their role.

The topics that we cover during the training programme are

• Principles and role of health coaching
• Health coaching fundamentals
• Building confidence for positive change
• Understanding concepts of patient activation
• Effective communication skills to build trust and rapport
• Overcoming barriers to change
• Models of coaching for effective behaviour change
  
• Motivational interviewing
• Neuroscience of behaviour change
• Self-care and CPD

Dates

Delegates will meet for four days from 9.00 - 4.00 to cover the learning objectives of the programme.

Day 1: 1st December 2026

Day 2: 2nd December 2026

Day 3: 8th December 2026

Day 4: 9th December 2026

Cancellation

At ARC Training Academy, we are committed to delivering high-quality training while maintaining transparency and fairness in all our policies. Please review our cancellation terms below:

Participant Cancellations

• More than 14 days before the course start date
  ✅ Full refund or free rescheduling.
• 8–14 days before the course start date
  🔁 50% refund or transfer with a 25% rebooking fee.
• 7 days or less before the course start date
  ❌ No refund. Transfer allowed with a 50% rebooking fee.
• No-shows
  ❌ No refunds or transfers for no-shows without notice.

✅ Substitutions are allowed at no extra cost, if requested at least 2 business days before the course begins.

📅 Provider Cancellations

If ARC Training Academy must cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances:

• You'll be notified as early as possible.
• You may choose a full refund or a free transfer to another session.
• We are not liable for any additional costs (e.g., travel or accommodation).

🦠 COVID-19 & Postponement Policy

Health and safety come first. In light of COVID-19 and related disruptions:

• If a course is postponed due to public health concerns, you may reschedule at no extra charge.
• If you test positive or are required to isolate, you may request a transfer or credit for future training. Supporting documentation may be required.
• If a course must be moved online, you will be notified and given the option to attend virtually or reschedule.

🏢 Custom or On-Site Training

For private, in-house, or custom training:

• Cancellations or changes must be made at least 21 days in advance.
• Late cancellations may result in charges up to 100% of the agreed fee.
