About the ARISE Engagement team

We are a group of researchers and artists based at the University of East Anglia, Estuary Festival, and locally throughout East Anglia and the Southeast of England. The core team is comprised of Prof. Irene Lorenzoni, Prof. Johanna Forster, and Dr Scott Leatham at the UEA, and Thea Behrman at the Estuary Festival.

We are part of a broader research project with many partner institutions known as the ARISE project, which is led overall by Prof. Gina Yannitell Reinhardt (University of Essex).    

About the ARISE Project

ARISE (Advancing Resilience and Innovation for a Sustainable Environment) is comprised of several research teams led by the University of Essex and focusing on community resilience in coastal areas. The aim of ARISE is to create conceptual and methodological tools and recommendations to build sustainable resilience policy in UK coastal communities.
