Do you feel you’d like to sing?
Have you thought you could sing but lack confidence?
Are you looking to improve your vocal technique and presentation?
Or just to join in a fun, fascinating experience?
Psychotherapist (MA Psych, MBACP Accred.) and media guest expert (the Trisha Show) Matthew Campling presents his popular and rewarding therapeutic singing workshop.
Being a singer (formerly of The Pink Singers, Matthew knows from the inside what’s really useful in singing. Beginning with all-important breathing. Matthew explains breath technique and uses vocal exercises to root and support your voice.
The therapeutic component is looking at how you feel about your voice and freeing you from the past to sing better right now. Matthew also shares ideas on interpreting the words, on properly positioning the sound and how to hold notes and increase your confidence to sing louder.
Matthew has presented his workshop at various London venues including London Lighthouse, Central YMCA and Kairos Spiritual Centre as well as Boston Community Centre.
Please note: although the workshop is therapeutically based, given the group format it cannot take the place of actual psychotherapy.
Please wear comfortable clothes in which you can move around freely.
