Studio ARK

Studio ARK

Studio ARK is a series of creative explorations for over 55s.

There are limited places on each of these programme and since the sessions build cumulatively, we ask that participants enrol for each programme as a whole.

To secure your place, there is an initial payment of £5.00. At the end of each programme, there will be an opportunity to pay an additional amount if you wish. This can be as much or as little as you like – it’s up to you.

The first programme is Creative Quests which consists of five sessions. Information about further programmes will be announced shortly.

Creative Quests

Want to explore your creativity with others? Ready to see the world differently? Join Creative Quests for a month-long, collective exploration of Maps

Across five interactive weekly workshops at ARK in Cliftonville, we’ll head out into Margate to notice overlooked details and experiment with creative ways of mapping the world around us. Through hands-on activities, creative challenges, guest speakers and rich conversation, we’ll navigate our ideas about maps and what they can teach us creatively.

From winding streets and neural pathways to the personal and political, maps are everywhere, guiding us through the known and inviting us into the unknown.

Grab your compass. Margate is our creative playground.
