Army FAO Association Annual Event

Please join the Army Foreign Area Officer Association on October 11th starting at 6pm for our annual event. We have changed the event this year to accommodate suggestions from Army FAOs who attended the last two years, mainly to allow more time for socializing. Therefore, this event will have an cash bar for those who desire to purchase their own alcoholic drinks, a catered heavy hors d'oeuvres section, and seating or standing sections available. Check the event ticket section for the opportunity to purchase FAO coins and lapel pins and pick them up at the event. We have arranged for the musuem to be open should you desire to walk through before or after the event. Spouses are encouraged to attend. For our handicapped friends, the walk to the museum entrance is over 200 meters, an elevator is available to the event space on the 2nd floor.  

Agenda: 6pm - 7pm - social hour; 7pm - 8pm AFAOA event, guest speaker, and Hall of Fame Awards; 8-9pm social hour

Dress: Business Casual (Jacket no tie / cocktail dress)

Food and drinks: Iced Tea and Water and an cash bar

Appetizers: Vegetable Spring Rolls, Goat Cheese and Honey Phyllo Triangles, BBQ Pulled Pork Bites, Capreses Skewers, and Seared Beef Tenderloin. Also availalbe is a Vegetable Crudite with hummus and ranch, Charcuterie Board with artisan meats, cheeses, pickles, and garlic-herb flatbread; and a Chilled Shrimp platter.
