Doon Valley Railway Open Days 2025

Tickets are valid for site entry all day on the date, and travel on the train at the time indicated on the booking.

Children aged 2 and under travel free when accompanied by an adult and do not require a ticket. They will not have a seat and will require to sit on the adult's lap. 

Please check-in at the Ticket Office which is located next to the cafe when you arrive. 

The train departs from the station which is about a 5 minute walk from the ticket office. 

Please allow sufficient time to arrive, check-in and then walk to the station.

Availability
Visitors are advised that steam and diesel locomotives, train services, attractions and facilities are subject to availability on the day.

Conditions
The ARPG reserves the right to refuse access to, or remove from the train, station and site, any persons who are considered to be using inappropriate behaviour affecting the safety of the train and its passengers, spoiling the enjoyment of others or failing to comply with any reasonable requests made by a member of the train or station staff.
