Join us for a special celebration this Armed Forces Day!
On Sunday 19th July 2026, the Doon Valley Railway is proud to pay tribute to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces community—from serving troops and veterans to their dedicated families and cadets.
Come together with your family and enjoy a day filled with nostalgia, industrial history, and fun activities as we say a national "thank you" for their tireless service.

- Military Displays: Explore displays of military vehicles, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all ages.
- Model Railway Exhibition: Delight in our intricate model railway display, a hit with visitors and volunteers alike.
- Museum & Gift Shop: Learn about Scotland's rich industrial railway heritage in our on-site museum, and pick up a souvenir in our gift shop.
