Array Ensemble: Construction [LIVESTREAM]

This concert is built around a new arrangement on a percussion classic–John Cage’s Third Construction–with Cage-ian prepared piano. The conch from Third Construction gets its own solo afterwards in a Monica Pearce miniature, complemented by an Ocarina miniature by Bekah Simms. Works by Composer-in-residence emeritus Bruce Russell, Rashaan Rori Allwood, and Rodney Sharman complete the program.
