Policing Palestine: The Process is the Punishment

Hear from arrestees and Legal Support Committee members about the tactics used to criminalize the Palestine solidarity movement in Toronto.

This town hall will focus on the tactics used to criminalize the Palestine solidarity movement in Toronto, knowledge sharing through the experiences of those who have been involved in the penal process. Participants will learn the ways in which the penal system has been set up to make the process the punishment.

This will include speakers from the Legal Support Committee who have been supporting arrestees and tracking police trends, arrestees, a movement lawyer who has been working with movement activists, an arrestee themself, and a member of the movement care collective who has been working to support folks through the punitive process.
