Where the Light Wanders / Where Silence Breaks: Join the Preview Evening

This June, Art Forward Gallery presents two concurrent shows, interlinked yet independent of each other: Where the Light Wanders and Where Silence Breaks. The exhibitions bring together seven artists who use their individual mediums to explore and present the world through their own perspectives.

We'd love for you to join us at the Private View on Thursday 11th June between 6-9pm, at our central London home.

The exhibitions are open to all, but we kindly ask you to RSVP to attend the opening evening.

About the Exhibitions:

Where the Light Wanders

Featuring work by Tereza Červeňová, Mariam Menteshashvili and Charlotte C Mortensson.

This exhibition considers photography as a site of movement and transformation, where light, memory and lived experience shape shifting relationships between figure and environment. Across three practices, the photographic image becomes both constructed and transient, mapping personal and collective histories through presence and place.

Where Silence Breaks

Featuring work by Caroline Ashley, Lesley Bunch, Sonja Kresojevic and Réka Laklia Ritt.

This exhibition brings together materially driven practices that explore texture, form and transformation. Across textile, sculpture and object-based work, the artists engage with repetition, memory and inheritance, where material holds both weight and fragility. The works exist in tension between presence and absence, shaped as much by what is revealed as what is withheld.

Together, the two exhibitions open a shared space of dialogue between image and object, light and silence, movement and stillness.

The exhibitions will run from 11th June to 11th July 2026.
