Intro to Portfolios
Artificial Kreativity presents Intro to Portfolios
This is an online workshop that helps creatives understand the basic elements of a portfolio and how to structure their work in a professional manner. With a short presentation and live feedback, attendees learn how to use graphics, layouts, diagrams, proportion, text, and sequencing to communicate their work clearly. Selected individuals who submit their portfolios will also have the opportunity to have a critique of their work. This is offered globally to like-minded creatives.
We created this with the intent to help those without experience to gain confidence in starting a portfolio and for more experienced creatives to learn how to organize their work professionally. We have seen many portfolios and talented people who could use that extra help to make their portfolio very strong and present their projects with greater impact. We have presented this to secondary school students applying to architecture schools, university students, early-year architecture practitioners, and other creative professions. This also includes those deciding to change careers. Although this is aimed for architects or those interested in architecture, these principles can be applied across creative industries.
