Come in search of the moonshine, myth and madness of the American Wilderness. Join an evening of the stories and songs of outlaws, ghost towns, the emigrant, the doomed lover, and the extraordinary lives of ordinary people real and imagined. An evening of folk and Americana magic featuring Steve Bonham and The Long Road and the award-winning Americana folk singer-songwriter Rob McHale.
Rob is Americana distilled. His songs are redolent with the essence and legend of old America, a vanishing world of the outlaw, the old saloon, the settler and the moonshiner. Sung with a voice and style reminiscent of Gordon Lightfoot they also capture the small, almost overlooked, intimate tales of folk history.
Rob is the real deal starting life as a pilot flying the US Mail in rickety old aircraft, sometime farmer and proud citizen of North Carolina.
