Pure Becoming: The Living Installation is a multidisciplinary showcase featuring original poetry, spoken word, and visual artwork that explores identity, memory, healing, and transformation. Created by Naima Hammonds in collaboration with visual artist Maria Tavarez, this experience invites guests into an intimate, curated space where storytelling becomes living art.

Set within the atmosphere of El Barista, audiences will move through an installation of poetry and painting, where each piece is designed to be felt as much as it is heard. The work centers Black womanhood, motherhood, and emotional evolution, offering a reflective and immersive journey.
