Arts Administrators of Color Network's 2025 Annual Convening
Rooted in Care, Rising in Joy
November 8–9, 2025 | 📍 Los Angeles, California

The Arts Administrators of Color Network (AAC) is thrilled to bring our beloved Annual Convening to the West Coast for the very first time! This year’s gathering, co-hosted with Creative West’s Leaders of Color Program, will take place November 8–9, 2025, across two iconic Los Angeles venues: Nate Holden Performing Arts Center (by way of Ebony Repertory Theatre) and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, with additional events throughout the city. We are excited to collaborate with Blackbird Collective PBC to bring this experience to life.
About the Convening
Since 2017, AAC’s Annual Convening has grown into a nationally recognized space for healing, learning, joy, and collective action among Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) and global majority artists and arts administrators. This year’s theme—“Rooted in Care, Rising in Joy”—honors the deep nourishment our communities need to thrive and celebrates creativity as resistance, restoration, and liberation.
With immersive workshops, vibrant social events, and connection-rich programming, this two-day experience is designed for BIPOC and global majority-identifying creatives and leaders across all stages of their careers.
