Are you an artist working in the creative health sector and looking for support to shape up a funding application for your work? You can now book on to one of our 1 hour online surgeries to receive feedback and guidance on how to strengthen your application.
These slots are with artist, creative health consultant and Director of Arts & Health Hub, Daniel Regan. We are also running surgeries with curator and Arts & Health Hub Director Mariama Attah - click here for those sessions.
About Daniel Regan
Daniel has successfully fundraised close to £1m in funding for his own artistic practice and organisations that he has worked with and for. His funding successes come from numerous Project Grants and Developing Your Creative Practice grants from Arts Council England; National Lottery Community Fund; numerous trusts and foundations, local councils and private sponsors. His grants have ranged from small artist bursaries through to substantially larger and long term project grants, with experience of applying as an individual and as an organisation (a CIC and registered charity).
How the Funding Surgeries Work
- Sessions take place over Zoom.
- Find a suitable time slot and make your booking on this page.
- After booking you will receive an email with a link to a short form, asking you about your application, what you are looking for guidance on, and to upload a draft. You'll need to have completed this form no later than 5 working days before your appointment, to give Daniel time to review it.
- Your draft will be reviewed prior to the session so that Daniel is prepared with feedback and advice on how to strengthen your application, guiding the 60 minute online session together. You can ask any further questions in the online session.
- Notes will be emailed to you afterwards, so you can focus on being present in the session.
Eligibility
- You can be an artist at any stage of your career, working in any discipline.
- Your work must be related to health and wellbeing in some way - Arts & Health Hub only supports artists working in this field.
- You must have a draft of your application available - these sessions are specifically focused on working with what you have already put together. The application does not need to be fully finished, but you will need something for us to work with.
Questions?
If you have any questions you can contact us at info@artsandhealthhub.org.
Bookings & Refund Policy
Bookings are non-refundable. Arts & Health Hub is a small non-profit organisation run by freelancers without on-going support for core costs / staffing. If you are unable to make the session and you let us know - by emailing info@artsandhealthhub.org - with 72 hours or more notice, we will happily try to reschedule - one time - at a convenient time for both parties. By booking these sessions you understand that the feedback does not guarantee a positive decision from a funding body (we wish it did!). You will be required to submit the pre-session information form no later than 5 working days before the session date, in order to give time to review your application.
