Chris Daniels and the Kings

Chris Daniels & The Kings with Freddi Gowdy -- just the vocals have mics and the whole sound is blended together with acoustic guitars, horns and percussion. It has the same high energy but in an intimate setting. The Kings have done this show on the nationally syndicated eTown Radio show, The Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, Colorado, The Banana Peel in Brussels, Belgium and even at the old Boykin store concert hall. As Daniels said, "I think it is one of our favorite shows to do ... take the KINGS down to a "front porch" sound and play the acoustic version. Now, don't get me wrong, it will get you up and dancing ... but it's perfect for really hearing the interplay between the instruments, horns and the vocals."
