Jazz Trio Gustaf, Frederick and Isabel
Jazz Trio Gustaf, Frederick and Isabel
“Gustaf, Frederick & Isabel has ushered in nothing less than a reinvention of the jazz trio…finely grooving, humming rather than screaming, dream-walking rather than galloping.” is what the German newspaper Der Bund said about this unique trio.
Park Stickney is a world famous jazz harpist and friend of Stamford’s own Eleanor Turner. They have met at various international harp events, from Sydney to Hong Kong. Eleanor is thrilled to bring Park, and his quirky jazz trio ‘Gustaf, Frederick and Isabel’ to Stamford for this exciting one-off gig, which will also feature a short guest spot by Eleanor and her students, playing alongside Park!
Drinks will be served at the back of the church, beforehand and during the interval. One drink is included with your ticket and for further drinks, a donation would be appreciated as we cannot sell drinks.
Please join us for what will be an unmissable evening of live jazz in Stamford’s beautiful and accessible United Reformed Church.
Doors open at 7pm and there is space at the back and front of the church for wheelchairs or mobility aids. Please email info@eleanorturner.com or phone Ellie on 07811444935 if you would like to discuss accessibility requirements or any other matter concerning this event.
There is an ungendered toilet at the back of the church and the refreshments served will include red and white wine, juices, water and packets of crisps.
We would love to welcome you and your whole family to this event but please be aware it is not specifically marketed as a family concert. However, the music will be amplified and the atmosphere will be summery and relaxed!
