About the Class: Do you always love to have a scented candle burning in your home or workspace? In this class you will learn to make your very own scented soy wax container candles. All of the materials that you need are provided; wax, wicks, fragrance oils and a variety of glass containers. You will learn the process for making and curing the candles, pick from over 30 different scents, and go home with 2 - 3 candles and a list of tried and true resources to set you on your candle making path. Adults and ages 10+ welcome.

About the Instructor: Keiran Best is an Artist, Maker & Shop Owner living in the Alberta Arts neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. She graduated NYU with a BFA in Photography. She owns and operates a boutique called Porch Light in the Pearl District. In her spare time she makes many of the ceramics, jewelry and candles for sale in her shop.

Class Size: The class is capped at 10 participants. If there are less than 5 participants, the class will be cancelled and refunded.

Refunds: No tuition refunds will be issued after May 26 (unless the entire class is cancelled due to low registration).

What to Bring: All materials are included including containers but feel free to bring your own 8 oz or smaller containers if you'd like.

Prerequisites: No prior experience required. All skill levels are welcome.
