Having trained in Bunkyo, Tokyo under the 13th-generation master of the prestigious Maruichi Senoh Troupe, Yuki brings rare, lineage-based knowledge to the stage—offering audiences an authentic glimpse into an art form with fewer than 150 active practitioners remaining in Japan.

From samurai swords to crystal ball manipulation, this high-energy, family-friendly performance is equal parts skill, and cultural exchange. Blending physical comedy, audience connection, and centuries-old traditions, each show creates a unique and memorable experience—entertaining while preserving and sharing a vanishing art form with audiences across Canada.

Yuki Ueda is an award-winning Japanese Canadian juggler and contemporary circus artist known for blending technical precision with physical comedy and storytelling. As co-founder of Cause & Effect Circus, he has co-created internationally recognized productions including The New Conformity, Press Play, and Luminarium.

Yuki is one of the few North American artists trained in Edo Daikagura under 13th-generation master Maruichi Sennoh, integrating traditional Japanese techniques with contemporary performance. He is a two-time CanSpin Juggler of the Year and has performed worldwide. As a mentor and community leader, he has coached students to international success and actively supports the development of circus arts through teaching and organizational leadership.
