The Art @ Tremper x Notice Recordings 2025 Performance Series brings together a wide range of experimental musicians, composers, and performance artists for intimate events in our Catskills studio. This series marks the reactivation of the space following the closure of the former Mount Tremper Arts, and the beginning of a new phase at Tremper—a mission-based cultural project integrating art, ecology, and hospitality. Events run from May through November. Each evening is curated with care, showcasing artists whose work resists easy categorization and prioritizes presence, experimentation, and connection.

About Tremper

Tremper is a cultural development in progress, rooted in the belief that art, ecology, and hospitality can sustain one another—economically, socially, and ecologically. The long-term vision includes an expanded cultural arts center, an ecology institute and regenerative agricultural farm, and integrated hospitality offerings. Together, these elements form an interconnected system designed to support artists, land stewards, and visitors in shared creative and ecological work. Art @ Tremper is the first public-facing component of this broader vision. This season invites the public back into the space—and offers a glimpse of what’s to come.

Founded in 2009, Notice Recordings presents performances and releases limited, letterpress-printed cassette editions by outsider and established artists working in free improvisation, sound art, performance, and poetry. The label values depth, experimentation, and process—supporting work that resists easy categorization and favors rawness over refinement.
