Violinist and composer Tom Chiu returns to the Catskills with a solo set followed by a performance with String Noise—the renowned violin duo of Conrad Harris and Pauline Kim Harris.
The evening concludes with a performance of Chiu’s "Retrocon", a piece originally commissioned by Chamber Music America and the former Mount Tremper Arts. Rearranged especially for this performance, the piece offers a fresh take on structured improvisation, sonic memory, and ensemble tension.
