5 Walks, 5 Trees, 5 Poems Publication Launch

Join us on Sat 20 December 7-9pm at Bridgend Farmhouse for the launch of our forthcoming publication: '5 Walks, 5 Trees, 5 Poems', published by Art Walk Press. 

'5 Walks, 5 Trees, 5 Poems' is the culmination of a project curated and facilitated by Jonathan Baxter and commissioned by Art Walk Projects. Beginning in 2024, '5 Walks' saw a number of participatory walks devised to deepen our relationship with the natural world through mindful walking, drawing, poetry and conversation. The publication introduces the reader to the '5 Trees' that participants spent time in the company of; complemented by an introduction to Craigmillar Castle Park by Elly Kinross, drawings by Sarah Gittins, poems by Helen Boden, speculative fiction by Sandy Bennett-Haber and introductory writings by Jonathan Baxter.

The launch is accompanied by an exhibition at Bridgend and will feature readings by the participating writers.
