The Coaching Path

LEVEL

PROGRAM

PRIMARY OUTCOME

Level 1

The Road to 5

Create and confidently perform a polished five-minute set.

Level 2

The 7-Minute Stretch

Expand a strong five-minute set into seven minutes without padding.

Level 3

The Top 10

Build and perform a cohesive, stage-ready ten-minute set.

Program Foundation

The curriculum is organized around three connected pillars: Voice•Writing•Performance

●Voice: perspective, personality, persona, authenticity, and point of view.

●Writing: premise, setup, punchline, tags, storytelling, transitions, callbacks, and set structure.

●Performance: delivery, timing, stage presence, confidence, audience connection, and light crowd work.

LEVEL 1

The Road to 5

OBJECTIVE: Create and confidently perform a polished five-minute stand-up set.

Four weekly 60-minute private sessions.

1. Fundamentals and Finding Your Voice — stand-up basics, persona, point of view, and the relationship between premise, punchline, and perspective.

2. Building the Material — turn stories, opinions, and frustrations into jokes; identify the strongest premises; write in the client's natural voice.

3. Building the Set — select an opener, organize the middle, create transitions, choose a closer, cut unnecessary words, and add tags.

4. Performance and Set Surgery — run the complete set; strengthen delivery, timing, movement, microphone technique, confidence, and audience connection.

Core Teaching Principle

VOICE = Perspective + Personality + Pattern of Thinking

Client Outcome

A written, rehearsed, stage-ready five-minute set, plus a clear action plan for performing and continuing to improve it.

Best Fit

●A beginner who wants clear guidance for creating a first set.

●A newer comedian with disconnected jokes who needs structure.

LEVEL 2

LEVEL 3

The Top 10
