SME Centre of Excellence invites local organisations from Northumberland and partners to our event to sign the Armed Forces Covenant.

About the Armed Forces Covenant: The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise to ensure fair treatment for those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families. It relies on the support of people, communities, and businesses to make a difference.

Our Mission: The SME Centre of Excellence is on a mission to make the Ponteland community to become armed forces covenant friendly.

Why Attend? By signing the Covenant, your organisation will show commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. This event also provides an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded businesses and community leaders. Additionally, you will gain recognition as an Armed Forces-friendly organisation.

Event Highlights: The event will feature a welcome address where you can learn about the importance of the Armed Forces Covenant. Guest speakers, including business leaders and veterans, will share their insights and experiences. The highlight of the event will be the signing ceremony, where organisations publicly commit to the Covenant. Following the ceremony, there will be a networking session to connect with other supportive businesses and organisations as well as some delicious food.
