Abstract:
As Korea’s chemical regulatory framework continues to evolve, businesses must navigate multiple regulatory requirements while ensuring consistency across their compliance activities. This webinar will provide an overview of key obligations under K-CCA, K-OSHA, and K-REACH, covering chemical confirmation and Letters of Confirmation (LOC), MSDS requirements, and K-REACH Forms 25/26. Relevant fire safety requirements under Korea’s hazardous substances legislation will also be addressed where applicable. With the K-REACH registration deadline for existing substances in the 10-100 tonnes/year band approaching on 31 December 2027, the session will explore testing requirements, common registration challenges, and practical considerations for meeting regulatory obligations. We will also discuss the public disclosure of registration information and the protection of confidential business information, highlighting the importance of managing regulatory transparency while safeguarding sensitive business data. Beyond individual regulatory requirements, this webinar will focus on common compliance gaps, potential inconsistencies across regulatory submissions, and how Korean authorities cross-check submitted information. Join us to gain practical insights into addressing compliance challenges, improving regulatory documentation, and maintaining compliance with Korea’s chemical regulatory framework.
