Members Get-Together: Pick the Topic, Join the Conversation

As every year, Asia Society Switzerland takes a short break over the summer. Before we do, we invite our Members to join us for a relaxed evening of drinks and conversation, our traditional Fyrabig-Bier.

Think of it as an easy way to mark the start of summer: good company, informal exchanges, and a chance to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones across the community. No panels, no formal program, just space for conversations that often turn out to be the most memorable.

The topic? We’d like to hear it from you. When registering, choose what sparks your interest most and dive into it with fellow curious minds from the community.

Possible themes:

• Music in Asia – Share your favorite artists, discover new sounds, and co-create a community playlist.

• Everything Hallyu – From Korean soft power to dramas, skincare, and beyond.

• Storytelling in 2D – Your chance to share and spread your love for visual narratives: discuss your favorite manga and webtoons, discover new stories and connect with fellow readers from the community.

• Foodie Meeting – Swap recipes, discuss must-try dishes, and connect over a shared love of food (light snacks provided; dinner at your own arrangement).

Whichever topic is chosen, the approach stays the same: open, curious, and driven by the people in the room. We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is for Asia Society Members only. If you are not yet a Member, you can easily become one during the registration process.
