Donʼt miss this revealing story about a beautiful
Askew Road resident.
Playwright & art historian, Angela Bolger has created a wonderful presentation about the celebrated Jamaican artists' model, Fanny Eaton. Hidden pictures by Pre-Raphaelite artists will be revealed. Fanny comes to life in video excerpts from the acclaimed one-woman show about her adventures in Victorian London.
Fanny
Eaton was a long-time local resident, ending her
days at 2A Bassein Park Road, where a blue
plaque has been installed in her honour. It is
fitting that her extraordinary life is remembered
as part of Askew Road Arts Festival. (See a LBH&F article about Fanny Eaton's Blue Plaque here.)
