May Madness on Starch Green Batwalk
Batwalk in Ravenscourt Park with Paul Schifferes
We will start by the tennis courts at the south end of the park and walk across to the other side on the path by the playground, then diagonally following the path across the field toward the teahouse, then down the main path back to where we started. This may change depending on where bats are but we will certainly end at the same place. We will start at 9pm sharp (I will be there early) and we will finish by 9.45.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
There's no guarantee we will see bats but I'd be surprised if we didn't.
About Paul
I'm a biology teacher with experience leading bat walks in Ealing working with Ealing Wildlife Group. We will have a short talk about bats in London and their habitats, and then will try to find where bats are flying using an ultrasound detector.
