Release What You've Been Carrying
A movement and embodiment experience created for mothers.
Because motherhood asks us to carry a different kind of weight.
Not just the weight of raising children.
The weight of loving people more than you've ever loved anything before.
The weight of constantly wondering if you're getting it right.
The weight of holding everyone together while trying not to come undone yourself.
The weight of invisible labor and a world that still doesn't prioritize mothers or families.
The weight of decisions, responsibility, guilt, fear, hope, heartbreak, and a nervous system that rarely gets to fully exhale or sit down.
It's beautiful.
It's sacred.
And sometimes...
it's unbelievably heavy.
Whether motherhood came to you through birth, adoption, fostering, partnership, chosen family, or another path...
Whether you're parenting young children, grown children, navigating estrangement, grieving a child, longing to become a mother, or redefining what motherhood means in this season...
This space was created for you.
RAGEher is an invitation to put some of that weight down.
Come be held by a room full of Rage Doulas and mothers who understand.
Because no one was ever meant to carry this alone.
Why Rage?
Everyone talks about the overwhelm, self-care, and unseen labor of being a mother.
Far fewer people are talking about one of the most important relationships a mother will ever have:
Her relationship with anger.
Not just for herself.
But for her partnerships.
Her friendships.
Her work.
And perhaps most importantly, for her children.
Because whether we realize it or not, our relationship with anger becomes part of what we pass on.
Most of us have already witnessed what happens when parents don't know what to do with anger.
We've experienced the parent who disappeared into depression and quiet dissatisfaction.
The parent who smiled on the outside but expressed resentment through passive aggression.
The parent who sacrificed so much they forgot who they were.
The parent who exploded after holding everything in for far too long.
The parent who never expressed anger at all—and taught us to abandon ourselves in the process.
Very few of us were shown that anger could be healthy.
At RAGEher, we don't teach mothers how to suppress their anger or "keep it together."
We teach them how to understand it.
How to move through it.
How to let it guide them toward the grief, healing, truth, and self-respect waiting on the other side.
What happens at RAGEher?
This is not group therapy.
This is not an anger management class.
This is not a rage room.
(Although we do have padded bats, pillows, and mats to throw a tantrum on.)
And no one will force you to scream, share, cry, or participate in ways that don't feel right for you.
RAGEher is a substance-free movement and embodiment experience for those who hold womanhood or femmeness in their body, story, or spirit.
Think of it as a girls' night out at the club—reimagined.
Through music, movement, somatic practices, emotional expression, and community, you'll be guided through an experience designed to help you reconnect with your body, your voice, and your aliveness.
What This Looks Like:
🔥 Begin in the Tempest Tavern with guided reflections on your relationship with anger
🔥 Join the Fury Floor for somatic release, movement, dance, and emotional expression
🔥 Experience a culturally diverse music arc designed to move you through the full spectrum of feeling
🔥 Explore sacred rage rituals—our space is a playground for your curiosity
🔥 Gather in the Livid Lounge for refreshments, integration, and small-group reflection
🔥 Be supported every step of the way by experienced Rage Doulas
Some people cry.
Some people scream.
Some people laugh.
Some people dance.
Some people shake.
Some people simply witness and allow themselves to feel.
There is no right way to be here.
Simply showing up for yourself is the work.
Who Is This For?
At RAGEher, we take an expansive view of both womanhood and motherhood.
This gathering is for anyone who holds womanhood or femmeness in their body, story, or spirit—and who experiences motherhood as part of their life.
That includes cisgender women, transgender women, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and queer folks who feel called to gather around the shared experiences of womanhood and motherhood.
Whether motherhood came to you through birth, adoption, fostering, step-parenting, kinship care, chosen family, donor conception, surrogacy, or another path...
Whether you're parenting infants, toddlers, teenagers, adult children, or navigating an empty nest...
Whether you're a single parent, partnered parent, co-parent, divorced parent, widowed parent, or doing this without the village you wish you had...
You belong here.
**** If you're currently working with a therapist, coach, physician, or other care provider, we encourage you to consult with them about whether this experience feels like a supportive fit for you.
Who Will Be Holding The Space?
RAGEher is facilitated and supported by experienced Rage Doulas.
For this experience, you'll be guided by a facilitator who is not only deeply trained in this work, but who is also a mother herself. She knows firsthand that motherhood can be one of life's greatest joys—and one of its greatest mirrors.
A Rage Doula is a trained space holder who helps people reconnect with anger as a healthy, human emotion.
They don't fix, diagnose, analyze, or manage your feelings. They help you stay connected to your body, listen to what your anger is trying to tell you, and move that energy with intention.
Our team includes practitioners, coaches, facilitators, educators, healers, and community leaders with thousands of hours of combined experience in somatic practices, trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, emotional expression, coaching, facilitation, rupture and repair, attachment, intimacy, pleasure, and embodied healing.
But credentials aren't what make this space special.
It's that we've done—and continue to do—this work ourselves.
We're not here because we've figured it all out.
We're here because we believe our relationship with anger can change the way we relate to ourselves, our children, our partners, and our communities.
