Seriously Strange is going to be an entertaining weekend. Top speakers in the field today will come together to discuss topics such as ghosts, vampires, cryptozoology, poltergeists and UFOs.

We have a variety of academic speakers and lay researchers and a blend of accessible and more academic talks. 

See the top experts debating anomalous phenomena and have a chance to get involved in the debates. Give your opinion on the burning questions of the day, or just sit back and watch the debate unfold around you.

We wrap up the Saturday session with the Gala Evening.

You can purchase a single day ticket, or weekend pass.

Gala Evening

We will be having a Gala Evening in the local Village Hall, which is 10 minutes walk from the University. You are welcome to bring your own drinks with you, we can supply ice and plastic cups/glasses (You are welcome to bring your own glass) . There will be Food, Music and Entertainment. £25.00 per person

Accommodation 

You can book accommodation for the conference at the University on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and 4th September 2023, you will find this on our booking page.

Single room - Eastwood Halls - £55.00 per night. Shared Bathroom and kitchen. Breakfast is not included. Kitchens are unequipped so please bring anything you will need to cook and eat/drink.  

Single room - Marlborough/Solsbury Block - From £60 per night. En-Suite, cooked breakfast Included

Small double room - Woodland Court - Only one person allowed £80 per night. En-Suite, cooked breakfast Included

Twin room - Woodland Court  - From £90.00 per night. En-Suite, cooked breakfast Included
