ALL London Welcome Event for Trainee Teachers
Free, Friendly & Fun – Monday 13th October 2025 at Senate House, University of London

Are you a trainee teacher of languages – primary or secondary? Join us for a relaxed, sociable late afternoon hosted by the ALL London branch of the   Association for Language Learning (ALL) – your national subject association for language teachers.

Whether you’re just starting your journey or already deep into your training, this FREE event is a brilliant way to:

  • Connect with other London-based student teachers

  • Hear practical ‘Top Teaching Tips’ from experienced teachers

  • Discover how ALL supports you – from resources to representation at national level

  • Enjoy some refreshments and light snacks in a relaxed, informal setting

  • Meet Professor Anna Lise Gordon, Co-President of ALL (2025–2026), who’ll give a brief intro to ALL and what's coming up

After a short icebreaker activity (no awkward moments, we promise!), we’ll dive into helpful ideas for teaching languages across all phases and contexts. You’ll also receive a booklet of Teaching Tips from our enthusiastic committee members – something to take away and use in your own teaching!

Plus, find out what  language institutes can offer you as you prepare to enter the profession.  (We are so lucky to have them based in London.)

🕓 Arrive from 4.30 pm for a 5.00 pm start
🕕 We’ll wrap up by 6.00 pm

Last year, Wanda showed us how to make a mini-book.  A key skill for creative learners!
