The Association of Camerados is the small non-profit organisation that supports the global Camerados Movement.

The Camerados Movement set up spaces called Public Living Rooms, comfortable places where you can be in the company of others, no agenda and somewhere that isn't trying to fix you or sell you stuff, they are rarer than you think! You'll find them in places like libraries, schools, empty shops, community hubs and even in market stalls or on a wall!

In a Public Living Room people believe that the answer to our problems is each other and that connection gets us through tough times, just putting the kettle on and looked out for one another more and often be enough.

There are more and more Public Living Rooms appearing all the time and we'd love to see one in every neighbourhood. So if you'd like to find out more about setting up a Public Living Room in your community (we've got a box of free resources to help you set up your space) then please head over to camerados.org or get in touch with us at cuppa@camerados.org.

Our events are used as a way to generate funds for the Movement, they enable starter resources kits to be sent out to communities wishing to set up a Public Living Room space.
