AOP Business & Legal - Drop-in Consultations
Business & Legal consultations provided by AOP in association with Open Plan Law
AOP and Open Plan Law are teaming up to offer series of bookable business & legal one-to-one consultations, in person (there will be an online option for those outside London).
These sessions will take place on two separate dates, the first being Thursday 29 October, the second on Thursday 19 November. Depending on take-up and feedback, more will be scheduled in 2027.
This is a great opportunity to come along and speak with experts, face-to face, about issues or circumstances relating to anything business & legal, which you are facing and where you need some advice, a steer or just a sounding board. Think of these sessions as opportunities for ‘issue spotting’ and getting a ’sense check’ on something, as much as advice about a specific legal or business matter.
How to prepare for your consultation
The session will last 25 minutes and in order for us to give you the best guidance, we will rely on you being able to summarise the essential facts and documents. Refresh your memory on all dates and facts. You may find it helpful to jot them down together with your key questions.
If you need advice on a document, please send it to nickdunmur@the-aop.org at least 48 hours in advance of your session, in order that we may better assess the situation and advise appropriately. Please note that the session is not designed to provide you with detailed analysis of agreements or review large amounts of documents. It is your responsibility to have read all documents you need advice on and select the issues you need guidance on.
Booking and attendance
The timeslots available are as follows;
10:30, 11:00. 11:30. 12:00 noon, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00, 14:30 and 15:00.

If you book a session and do not attend or do not notify us of a cancellation, you will not be able to access the service again.
