This page is for people who would like to camp at Kelham during Sanctuary.
We are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of camping pitches at Kelham Hall for Sanctuary over the weekend of 28th-30th August 2020
Each pitch is suitably distanced from those around it and is sized for a single motor home, caravan or large tent.
The site owner is prepared to offer these on a two night stay basis only. This can be Friday and Saturday night or Saturday and Sunday.
Access for set up is from 1600 on Friday or 1000 on Saturday. If you arrive or wish to depart between 1030 and 1730 on Saturday or Sunday this will require you to have a foot escort which you can obtain from the information point.
Electric hook up is an option.
The site is a full time dedicated caravan and camping site with toilets etc.
You must have tickets for Sanctuary in addition to your camping fees.
Please remember that your safety is our paramount concern. The event is designed to mitigate as much risk around Covid-19 as we possibly can whilst still allowing people to come together to celebrate steampunk.
Kelham Hall and park are fabulous and gives us more than 40 acres of grounds for a perfectly socially-distanced steampunk gathering.
Come along in your finery to promenade. See and be seen as you perambulate around the grounds. Picnic in style - we will have spot awards for the best looking picnics. Shop to your hearts content as you explore the traders trail. Selected steampunk vendors spread throughout the park with a trail map to make sure you don’t miss any of them.
Steampunk is a scene which has long promoted polite and considerate behaviour. This is especially important today and we will expect considerate conduct from all attendees particularly around our mutual safety.
We will require EVERYONE attending to have a clear face shield or cloth or surgical style mask which covers mouth and nose for wear where the 2m social distancing may not be easy to observe. e.g. in the toilets. Spot prizes will again be given for stunning masks.
All activities and features are being designed taking these safety measures into consideration. Keep watching as we announce features.
If you are shielding or simply too far away then don’t forget our virtual festival too which will be free to access.
