AXV Weekend at the Asylum 2025 - Evening Shows

AXV the fifteenth Weekend at the Asylum.  Thur 21st - Mon 25th August
This year it will be the grandest celebration of steampunk the World has ever seen.

THIS PORTAL IS FOR EVENING SHOWS ONLY - READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASE

Your show’s name, day, start time (doors open 30 minutes earlier) and location are all shown in the ticket title. Our locations are Lincoln Arts Centre (LAC) County Assembly Rooms (CAR) and The Engine Shed (ES). Please make sure you arrive at the correct venue and at the correct time. Unless shown by the code WB wristbands are not required in order to attend an evening show.  

ALL events are fully seated. This does mean dancing will be limited except at Decodance. 

(There is a special CELEBRATION BUNDLE available. This is substantially discounted and covers both shows - Airship Pirates Ahoy and Time Travellers. You must have a wristband when you arrive to use this ticket.)

THURSDAY: 

Advanced Guard   County Assembly Rooms. A relaxed social evening allowing for early pick up of wristbands.   Includes entertainment from Captain Kuppa-T. (WB)

FRIDAY: 

Airship Pirates Ahoy.  The Engine Shed. High energy performances from Box Set, Captain’s Beard and headlining the legendary Abney Park from the U.S. (Please note we re hoping to add a VIP afterparty ticket available as an add on. This is subject to negotiations with Abney Park).

Cyberpunk Night - Brew of the Neon Dawn. County Assembly Rooms. A unique night of immersive story telling and puzzle solving. 

SATURDAY:

Asylum Variety. Lincoln Arts Centre. A packed evening full of traditional steampunk variety. Introducing Play Taiko Taiko drummers with Major Tinker, The Brass Brothers, The Cogkneys, Rena Kanata, Arthur Foote III, Mark Simpson and more tbc. IMPORTANT - this venue has allocated seating so please book here:https://lincolnartscentre.co.uk/event/asylum-variety-show/

DecoDance - The Ladies of Dieselpunk. County Assembly Rooms. Featuring Miss Trixie Holiday, Kitten von Mew and headlining Alice Strange.

SUNDAY: 

Time Travellers. The Engine Shed. Our other big show.  Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq., Victor and the Bully and headlining the amazing Steam Powered Giraffe from the U.S.  (Please note there is an optional VIP upgrade to meet SPG after the show.)

The Asylum Burlesque. County Assembly Rooms. Featuring Bambi Bang Bang, Oola Pearl, Demi Noire, The Magic Ball Man, Raven Noir, Odelia Opium, Jamie Double and Scarlet Butterfly. Please note 18+

MONDAY: 

The Dead Dog Party. County Assembly Rooms. The traditional last hurrah of the festival this year with Wight Hot Pipes. (WB)
