A Taste of Winchester Finale - Community Long Lazy Lunch

Join us for the grand finale of A Taste of Winchester! Enjoy a relaxed, long community lunch with friends and neighbours. It's all about savouring good food, great company, and the delicious flavours from Winchester's favourite hospitality businesses in the heart of the city. Don't miss out on this gathering served up by a unique collaboration between Bar Lento, Rick Stein and St James Tavern, supported by local producers and Dutton Gregory.

This six-course al fresco gastronomic feast will see 250 guests seated at tables running the length of The Square. Relax at your table, enjoying live entertainment whilst our front-of-house team serves you.

Tickets: £65 per person. A limited number of vegetarian menus are available. Please select your preference at checkout. Regrettably, due to the scale of the event, we are unable to alter the menu for other dietary requirements.

Drinks to accompany your meal can be purchased from various bars around the square including:

Seating will be allocated on arrival from 12:30 at the front desk which will be situated at the Market Street end of The Square (outside Gieves & Hawkes).

This event has been organised collaboratively by Bar Lento, Rick Stein Winchester, St James Tavern and with support from Winchester BID and Dutton Gregory.

Please note that this event will be filmed and photographed for the Winchester BID website and associated social media feeds.

Refunds & cancellations
If you can’t attend, you may request a ticket cancellation and refund up to 14 days before the event (deadline: 21 June 2026).

How to request: Please contact the organiser using the details provided in your order confirmation email and include your order number.

After the deadline: Refund requests received after 21 June 2026 cannot be accepted, as catering numbers and event costs will have been finalised.

Processing: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow up to 5–10 working days for funds to appear, depending on your bank/card provider.

Ticket transfers: If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else at no extra cost. They will only be able to switch to a like-for-like ticket. Please contact us with the new attendee’s name and email before the event.

If we cancel: If the event is cancelled by the organiser, you will receive a full refund.
