SVA: Experimental Drawing
This workshop approaches anatomic drawing via practicing from the subconscious. It experiments with both visual and audio cues from sound and music to diagrams, stencil typography, and graphic stylizations from Leonardo da Vinci to chaos theory. It borrows from the connection of automatic writing to Kandinsky, tango to cubists, jazz to expressionism, and hip-hop to graffiti. Please feel free to bring supplies (pencils and markers) that you feel comfortable drawing with.
