County Champs entry:
U11 athletes: £7.00 (includes Norfolk County Champs fee per event)
All other age groups: £9.50 (includes Norfolk County Champs fee per event).
Open entry only (not eligible for County Champs):
U11 athletes: £5.80 per event
All other age groups: £8.30 per event
ALL ENTRANTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH ENGLAND ATHLETICS TO COMPETE - you will be asked at Checkout to provide your England Athletics URN (this can be found here: https://myathletics.englandathletics.org/licencecheck/). Under 11s will not be requested to provide a URN.
The cost of the ticket differs dependent on whether:
THE FIRST SECTION OF TICKETS ARE FOR IF: You are a member of an Athletics Club and want to be part of the County Champs (eligible to win a County medal due to being born in Norfolk or 9months + continuous residence) - U11s £7.00 per event, all other age groups £9.50
OR
THE SECOND SECTION SECTION OF TICKETS ARE FOR IF: You are an athlete (registered with an Athletics Club/England Athletics) wishing to enter the Open event but are not eligible for the County Championships (you were NOT born in Norfolk, or HAVE NOT been a resident for 9 months continuously) and would like to compete in the Open event. U11s £5.80 per event, all other age groups £8.30.
Age groups range from Under 11s to Seniors and Masters. The top 3 in the final of each age group will receive a Keith Ward Medal. Top 3 eligible athletes in each age group also receive a County medal.
You will be asked to provide a predicted time for track events incase we have to schedule heats within the programme. The indoor track has 6 lanes. The only exception to heats/finals is Under 11s - if there are more than 6 athletes entered, these will be run as time trials and top 3 times across the races will be awarded medals - no heats and finals for this age group.
Age groups (based on end of season 31/08/2024):
Under 11s - Year 4 & 5 (aged 9 or 10 on 31/08/2024) - max 2 events
Under 13s - Year 6 & 7 (aged 11 or 12 on 31/08/2024) - max 3 events
Under 15s - Year 8 & 9 (aged 13 or 14 on 31/08/2024) - max 3 events
Under 17s - Year 10 & 11 (aged 15 or 16 on 31/08/2024) - max 3 events
U20s/Seniors/Masters (Master categories; 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+) - Year 12 and beyond... U20s max 5 events, seniors unlimited but advised no more than 5 events.
MASTERS COMPETE WITHIN SENIOR CATEGORY IN ALL EVENTS APART FROM 60m & HIGH JUMP
