The Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing (ATIM) Cluster is an industry-led initiative dedicated to advancing the growth, innovation, and global competitiveness of Ireland’s manufacturing sector. Hosted by the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and funded by Enterprise Ireland, ATIM serves as a neutral platform that connects industry, academia, and government to tackle shared challenges and unlock new opportunities.
Since its launch in 2021, ATIM has grown into a dynamic ecosystem of over 80 industry member companies across sectors such as engineering, medtech, automation, polymer processing, and sustainable manufacturing. The cluster has delivered 19+ needs-led initiatives, developed and delivered key industry-driven initiatives (Dreambig, PolymerConnect) , and supported 47 companies in expanding their international reach.
