Embark on a journey with us at THE WAREHOUSE as we present Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman. This event marks the beginning of our charity staged reading series, where art meets compassion.

Join us for an evening where stories unfold and hearts connect, all for a noble cause. Every penny from this reading will support WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN, an organization dedicated to serving meals in the aftermath of disasters and crises worldwide.

Our very own Frat Pack Founder, Robert Walker-Branchaud, witnessed the profound impact of WCK in Przemysl, Poland, at a refugee center near the Ukraine border. Inspired by their mission, we're bringing this event to you.

Mark your calendars and bring your friends. Let’s share in the magic of theater and the warmth of giving. This is just the beginning of many enchanting nights to come.

See you there!

THE PILLOWMAN

Set in a totalitarian state, Katurian, a writer of macabre children’s stories, is dragged into a police interrogation. A string of crimes, reminiscent of his bizarre stories, has been uncovered. With the clock ticking to his imminent execution, can Katurian convince the police that all he does is write stories?

Oscar-winning screenwriter Martin McDonagh astonishes once more in this play that takes us into a dark fairy-tale world in the best traditions of the Brothers Grimm.

"If that doesn’t sound like the lightest of watches, it is and it isn’t. This black comedy gets very very dark with some near-the-knuckle dialogue and certain language that can only be described as extremely politically incorrect. Discussing the gruesome murders of children may not sound like the kind of play that will be laugh a minute but, strangely enough, it is."
