By kind permission of the Dean and Chapter of Westminster, the Moss family invites you to celebrate the life of Sir Stirling Moss OBE; remembering the friend, the father, the racer, the gentleman, the joker, and the world-renowned hero who was adored by so many.
Paying homage to Stirling's iconic Mille Miglia win, 722 tickets will be available to readers of Stirling's favourite automotive publications.
The racing showcase is hosted with special thanks to Mercedes-Benz Heritage.

What to Bring
To gain entry to the event, you must bring:
- A copy of your printed or digital admission ticket
- Photo identification (no entry is permitted without a Photo ID matching the name on your admission ticket)
Entry
Doors will open at 9.30am and we ask that you be seated by 10.30am You may be asked to go through a bag search, so please arrive in good time to allow for this and where possible keep personal belongings to a minimum. There is no cloakroom facility. We ask that you leave any sizeable luggage at a station left luggage facility ahead of the service. There is one at Victoria Station, for instance.
Please enter the Abbey via the Great West Door on the Broad Sanctuary.
Dress Code
Lounge suit for gentlemen and day dress for ladies. Decorations and Medals may be worn. Hats optional.
There isn't a requirement to wear dark colours as this will be a service of celebration for Sir Stirling's life and the legacy that he left to those who knew him.
Special Needs
The Abbey has sloped access via the Great West Door and flat access via the Great North Door. There is a disabled lavatory in the Cloisters. If you have particular special needs that require further assistance, please email special.events@westminster-abbey.org
Privacy
Unofficial photography and the use of mobile phones or sound recording equipment are not permitted during the service.

I have lost or forgotten my Entrance Ticket. What should I do?
If you have lost/forgotten your Entrance Ticket, please inform us as soon as possible via the contact email below. If you arrive without your ticket, please visit the Enquiry Point on the Broad Sanctuary.
Where are the nearest lavatories?
The nearest lavatories are located in Abbey Cloisters or at Westminster Central Hall.
Can I get more than one ticket per person?
No. Any duplicate tickets will be cancelled.
Getting to the Abbey
Public transport is advised. The nearest Underground stations are St James’s Park (District and Circle Lines) and Westminster (Jubilee, District and Circle Lines) approximately a ten-minute walk to the entry point of the Great West Door in front of the Abbey. The following buses stop near the Abbey: 11, 88, and 148.
