The Immersive Acting Workshop: Tools for Audience Interaction is a practical workshop for actors and directors who want to strengthen their skills in audience-facing performance. Using real-world immersive theatre challenges, participants will explore how to treat the audience as a scene partner, define character relationships and objectives, and build a “tool belt” of strategies for guiding interaction with confidence. Through discussion and hands-on exercises, this session helps performers prepare for the unpredictability of immersive work while staying grounded in character, tactics, and play.

About Our Instructors:
Logan Custer is a Denver-based actor, director, and immersive lighting designer, and a Core Member of Audacious Immersive. Since 2017, he has helped develop and produce the company’s immersive productions, bringing a practical, performer-centered approach to audience interaction and live storytelling.

Joey Laughlin is a Denver-based actor, director, and theatre creator. A Collaborative Member of Audacious Immersive, he has been helping develop and produce work with the company since 2017. He is also a founding member of Something Different, a Denver-based variety show and multidisciplinary performance collective.
