Buffy Summers Movie Screening & ’90s Vampire Prom

Summerween is here—and the Class of ’92 is dying to dance.

Who says you have to wait until October to break out the fangs?

Celebrate Summerween with Audacious Immersive at a screening of the 1992 cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, followed by a gloriously undead ’90s Vampire Prom.

For one night only, we’re combining summer horror, high-school nostalgia, and delightfully tacky formalwear for an evening filled with vampires, dancing, Buffy trivia, themed refreshments, awkward prom photos, and enough satin to survive the apocalypse.

Come dressed for prom. Come dressed as a vampire. Come dressed as your favorite Buffy character.

Just come ready to party like it’s 1992.

The Evening

Guests will enter through The Audacious Space, where they’ll check in and determine their protection for the evening: humans and other supernatural prey will consume a small Protective Holy Water draught, while Vampires and other supernatural predators will have an Anti-Harm Ward placed upon them by one of our hosts.

Once properly protected, guests will descend through a temporary portal to the Sunnydale Hellmouth—where it's a beautiful 90s prom night, with a few too many vampires on the prom planning committee.

Before the screening, guests can pose prom photos (gloriously awkward, perfectly vicious, or something in between), purchase Vampire Prom-appropriate refreshments, and test their Slayer knowledge with Buffy-themed onscreen trivia and preshow entertainment.

At 8:00 PM, settle in for a screening of the 1992 cult-classic comedy, *Buffy the Vampire Slayer, *that introduced the world to Buffy Summers: cheerleader, chosen one, and reluctant slayer of the undead.

After the film, the ’90s music will begin and the creatures of the night will take over the dance floor. We will also crown a King and Queen of Prom based on who is the best dressed.

Evening Schedule

7:30 PM — Doors Open

8:00 PM — Buffy the Vampire Slayer Screening

9:30 - 10:30 PM — 90s Vampire Prom Dance Party

Once the movie ends, the music comes up and the creatures of the night take over the dance floor.

Dance to ’90s favorites, return to the photo room, show off your finest undead formalwear, and compete for the evening’s Vampire Prom crowns.

Vampire Prom Admission — $25

Includes:

• Admission to the screening of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
• Admission to the ’90s Vampire Prom
• Buffy-themed onscreen trivia and preshow entertainment
• Access to the Vampire Prom photo room

• Eligibility to compete for the Vampire Prom costume crowns

Prom Court Admission — $35

Includes everything in Vampire Prom Admission, plus:

• Reserved prime seating in the Prom Court Seating Area
• One complimentary themed drink or refreshment upon arrival

Prom Royal Admission — $45

Includes everything in Prom Royalty Admission, plus:

• Your choice of a themed corsage or boutonnière

Dress to Rule the Night (Dress Code)

This is a themed event, so all guests are expected to arrive in appropriate attire. 

Suggested looks include:

• ’90s prom dresses and formalwear
• Velvet, satin, lace, sequins, and dramatic shoulder pads
• Vampires, vampire hunters, slayers, and creatures of the night
• Buffy-inspired fashion
• Summerween horror looks
• Any combination of high-school nostalgia and undead glamour
• Your favorite Buffy characters
• At a minimum, a black t-shirt always worked for Spike. 

During the prom, our hosts will select the evening’s most unforgettable costumes to compete for the crowns of Vampire Prom Royalty.

Winners will be chosen through a combination of host judgment and audience enthusiasm, so bring the hairspray, the fangs, and the drama.

Vampire Prom Photo Room

An adjoining, windowless room will be transformed into a projected ’90s Vampire Prom photo area.

The photo room will be available before and after the screening for selfies, group photos, and gloriously awkward prom portraits.

Guests should plan to use their own phones or cameras.

Refreshments

Vampire Prom-appropriate refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

This is an alcohol-free event. No outside alcohol is permitted. No spiking the punch.

Is This an Immersive Event?

This is primarily a movie screening and themed dance party rather than a full theatrical production.

Audacious performers will welcome guests, provide supernatural protection, and help set the scene, but audience interaction will remain light and optional.

You are welcome to participate as much—or as little—as you like.

Age Guidance

This event features a screening of the PG-13 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer, along with vampire imagery, mild horror, suggestive humor, and a prom-style dance party.

Guests under 16 should attend with an adult.

Seating

General-admission seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prom Court & Royalty ticket holders will receive reserved prime seating in the Prom Court Seating Area.

Tables and seating will remain available during the dance portion of the evening.

Please contact Audacious Immersive before the event if you need accessible seating or another accommodation.

Venue & Arrival

Guests will enter through The Audacious Space, attached to First Baptist Church of Denver.

After checking in, guests will be directed downstairs to the Vampire Prom event space.

Free parking is available in the attached lot on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional street parking nearby.

Refunds and Ticket Changes

Tickets may be managed through the self-service link included in your confirmation email.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event are eligible for a voucher equal to the value of the order. Vouchers are valid for one year and may be used toward an eligible Audacious Immersive event. You may also choose to add refund protection when purchasing your tickets. 

Tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of the event (unless refund protection has been added). Refunds and vouchers are not available after attending the event.

Audacious Immersive reserves the right to remove disruptive or unsafe guests without a refund.
