Step into an immersive world of enchanting entertainment, where you may explore magical artifacts and directly encounter creatures of international myth and legends.

The Beast and Wonders Gala Ball is produced by Audacious Immersive, a theatre and event company that makes audience-powered theatrical adventures for the coolest people in Denver.

FAQ

How long is the event?
The Van Helsing Society Beasts and Wonders Gala Ball is a full evening of immersive entertainment, dancing, creature encounters, and performances. The doors open at 7pm, and guests are welcome to explore the event at their own pace throughout the night. Final call will be at 10:30pm, with the final evening taking place

What do you mean by “immersive/interactive”?
Rather than watching everything unfold from a traditional theater seat, you’ll be stepping directly into the world of The Van Helsing Society.

Throughout the evening, guests will be able to encounter mythical creatures and characters, explore supernatural artifacts, discover interactive elements throughout the space, and enjoy live musical, aerial, and circus performances.

Participation is always opt-in. You’re welcome to throw yourself completely into the world, interact with characters, and investigate everything you find—or simply enjoy the performances, dancing, food, and atmosphere.

Is this a traditional sit-down gala?
No. This is an immersive fantasy ball designed for mingling, exploring, dancing, and encountering performances throughout the evening rather than a seated dinner or stage show.

Your evening includes sweet and savory bites and one complimentary beverage, with additional drinks available for purchase.

What should I wear?

This is a formal fantasy event, and guests are expected to dress for the occasion. Formalwear, cocktail attire, dark fantasy, fairy-tale, gothic, mythical creature, fantasy adventurer, and other imaginative looks are all welcome.

You do not need to wear a costume, but we ask that guests avoid casual everyday clothing such as jeans, T-shirts, athletic wear, or similar attire.

Do I need to know anything about The Van Helsing Society before attending?
Not at all. The evening is designed so that longtime followers and completely new guests can enter the world together.

All you need to know is that The Van Helsing Society is dedicated to the study, protection, and conservation of supernatural creatures—and for one extraordinary evening, its mythical menagerie is opening its doors to you.

Will there be performances?
Yes! Throughout the evening, you’ll encounter spectacular displays of supernatural skill, including musical performances, aerial and circus arts, and other entertainment woven into the immersive world of the event.

Because performances happen throughout the evening rather than as one continuous stage show, we recommend arriving early enough to explore and experience as much as possible.

Is there food?
Yes. Your admission includes a selection of sweet and savory bites as well as one complimentary beverage.

This is not a traditional seated dinner, so we recommend thinking of the food as substantial gala refreshments rather than a full plated meal.

Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

How much are tickets?
Presale tickets are $65. Which will only be available until Sept 15, or until the quantity runs out. After presale ends, General Admission tickets are $75.

VIP Admission is $100 and includes, an extra drink token, a bonus vote in the costume contest, an exclusive VIP Spell Jar necklace, and a souvenir photo print with a mythical creature of your choice.

For guests who would like to join us later in the evening, After 9 PM Admission is $40 and includes entry beginning at 9:00 PM for the final portion of the Gala Ball..

Because capacity is limited for this one-night event, advance tickets are strongly recommended.

Is parking available?
Yes. A free onsite parking lot is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If the lot is full, additional street parking is available in the surrounding area. We recommend arriving with enough time to find parking before the Gala begins.

Will there be accessible accommodations?
Yes. Seating will be available throughout the event, though this is not a fully seated experience and we cannot guarantee a seat for every guest at all times.

The Gala takes place across multiple floors of the building, and an elevator is available for guests who need it. If you will be attending with a wheelchair, mobility aid, or have other accessibility needs, please email info@audaciousimmersive.com in advance so we can make sure our team is prepared to assist you and help you navigate the space comfortably.

Is the Gala Ball appropriate for all ages?
The Gala Ball is primarily designed as an evening event for adults and older teens. Younger guests may attend according to parental discretion, but families looking specifically for a children’s Van Helsing Society experience may find our Mythological Petting Zoo and other family programming a better fit.

Are there any content warnings?
This is a fantasy event featuring mythical creatures, supernatural themes, theatrical effects, and occasional moments of simulated danger or monster-related mischief.

The evening may include sudden loud sounds, theatrical lighting effects, atmospheric darkness, and performers or creature characters approaching guests.

Interaction is always optional, and performers will respect guests who choose not to engage.

Can I come even if I don’t want to dance?
Absolutely. Dancing is only one part of the evening. You can spend your time watching performances, meeting creatures and characters, exploring artifacts, enjoying food and drinks, investigating the immersive elements of the space, or simply taking in the atmosphere.

What is your refund policy?
We understand that plans can change! Ticket holders can manage cancellations themselves using the self-service order link in their confirmation email.

Cancellations & Vouchers
Tickets may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the event start time through the self-service order link. When a ticket is cancelled, the order value will be issued as an Audacious Immersive voucher for future use.

Vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date issued, may be partially redeemed across multiple purchases until the balance is used, and may be applied toward any Audacious Immersive event.

Within 48 Hours of the Event
Tickets are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event start time and cannot be cancelled for a voucher through the self-service order link.

Refund Protection
Optional Refund Protection may be available during checkout through Ticket Tailor. This protection allows ticket buyers to request a refund through the provider if unforeseen circumstances prevent attendance. Terms and eligibility are determined by the protection provider.

Refunds and vouchers are not available after you have attended the event.

Audacious Immersive reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or violates event policies. Guests removed for these reasons will not receive a refund or voucher.
