Ramadan 1444: Austin’s Annual Ramadan Qur’an Competition - 
REGISTRATION ENDS MARCH 27th!
Objective: to provide a unified front amongst the community in providing a community-wide, event that motivates children and adults alike to engage with the Qur’an

YOU WILL BE READING FROM THE QUR'AN, THUS NO MEMORIZATION IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE 

If you do not see your category available, please email atxquran@gmail.com for your desired category AND join the waitlist

- If you are signing up for someone (i.e: participant less than age 18), please make sure to provide your contact information to receive specific details about the event 
- If you are signing up multiple people on one order, make sure to accurately answer participant questions (name, age, gender) so that they can be appropriately assigned to a category

Locations: 
Round 1 - Islamic Center of Greater Austin (April 2nd) 
Round 2 - Islamic Center of Brushy Creek (April 9th)
Round 3 - North Austin Muslim Community Center (April 16th)

Four categories separated by age group (subject to change depending on participant number and response) 
1. Ages 6-8 (category 1)

2. Ages 9-13 (category 2)

3. Ages 14-18 (category 3)

4. Ages 19+ (category 4)

Participants will be asked to READ a preselected passage from the Qur’an. Each round’s content information will be released a week prior to the date of the competition (this will be updated and released on this page and an text/email will be sent to participants notifying them of content details) 

Round 1 content:
1. Ages 6-8 - Qur'anic passage to be released 
2. Ages 9-13 - Qur'anic passage to be released  
3. Ages 14-18 - Qur'anic passage to be released
4. Ages 19+ - Qur'anic passage to be released

Round 2 content:
1. Ages 6-8 - Qur'anic passage to be released
2. Ages 9-13 - Qur'anic passage to be released
3. Ages 14-18 - Qur'anic passage to be released
4. Ages 19+ - Qur'anic passage to be released

Round 3 content (top 5 from category 2; top 3 from category 1, 3 and 4):
1. Ages 6-8 - Qur'anic passage to be released
2. Ages 9-13 - Qur'anic passage to be released
3. Ages 14-18 - Qur'anic passage to be released
4. Ages 19+ - Qur'anic passage to be released
