Eid Ul-Fitr Prayer

Eid  Mubarak!

May Allah ta'ala accept our good deeds from these blessed days of Ramadan

Islamic Center of Greater Austin invites our beloved community members to join us for Eid prayer on the ICGA campus on Friday, March 20th. We will hold one prayer outside. Please bring a prayer rug and reusable water bottle.

 Takbeer will begin at 8:45AM  with prayer at 9:30AM, Khutbah and Prayer with Imam Dawood Yasin

Once parking inside the masjid is full, then please park on Old Manor Rd. and Westminster Rd. , Cloverdale Ln. We do ask our community members to prioritize parking on the masjid property for our elderly, differently-abled, and female community members.

1. We will monitor weather at all times

3. Please note parking may get full early in the main lot. Please consider parking on the following options:

A. 7-11 Empty Lot ( Fits over 120 parking spots)

B. Old Manor Road ( Fits over 80 parking spots if parked correctly)

C. WestMinister Driver ( 3 minute walk & over 90 parking spots) 

D. Cloverdale Ln ( 4 minute walk & over 40 parking spots )

E. Shuttle at Bartholmew Park: 1800 E 51st St, Austin, TX 78723 ( Over 300 Spots!) 5 minute shuttle ride, 8 minute waiting. 

4. Security: We will have 5 officers and The Austin Police Department patrolling the area as requested by the Austin Police Chief.

5. Takbeer is at 8:45AM , Salaah is at 9:30AM followed by a short sermon by Imam Dawood Yasin

6. There will be sweets and gift bags for the kids.

7. Keep the community in your Duas, the people of Gaza, Sudan, and the entire Ummah in your Duas.
