Please join Austin Ridge Riders for our first visit to Spider Mountan Bike Park  in Burnet! Annual members will receive a discount on admission. 

Spider Mountain is a chairlift-served bike park with ~400' of elevation and trails for every riding level! This is a perfect summer destination since you can take a break on the chair lift between runs and there are water coolers at the top and bottom of the mountain. Plus, a significant portion of the trails are shaded.  They do offer bikes to rent should you feel you want a more "downhill friendly" machine. This can be helpful if you want to ride the chunky trails. 

Austin Ridge Riders monthly group rides are no- drop rides that cater to riders of all levels, beginner to advanced. For Monthly Ride Events we require a headcount for the provided lunch so please RSVP no later than the Thursday preceding the ride. Lunch (vegetarian option available) and water will be available after the ride, otherwise please BYOB! Please bring a side dish (fruit, chips. etc.) to share. A folding chair is recommended for the post ride hang-out.

Monthly Rides will be canceled if trail conditions are wet or any Special Event falls on that day. RSVP to receive email alerts for any changes or cancellations. If you are interested in being a group ride leader, please click here.

• Pay at the park; ARR yearly members will receive a discount on lift tickets.
• Helmets are mandatory!
• Bring plenty of water for the ride.
• Review the trail map and park rules.
• Ensure your bike is mechanically sound.
• Arrive early to find parking.

While ARR membership is not required to partake in our weekly group ride, we do encourage you to join.
