Free Avalanche Awareness Lectures (in English)

Are you going to be hitting the off-piste or going touring this winter ? Want to enjoy the powder but stay safe ? Then this presentation is for you. We will examine what causes avalanches, how to avoid them, and what to do if it goes wrong !

This FREE presentation is supported by The Bighorn Bar and Bistro. It lasts just over 1 hour, starting PROMPTLY at 17:30. The Bighorn is in Place Cham Sud (the centre of Chamonix Sud, right opposite the Aiguille du Midi lift). The presentation is brought to you by Avalanche Academy - Chamonix's only dedicated avalanche training school. It will be delivered in English, by a UIAGM certified Mountain Guide.

The presentation is FREE, but to control numbers we are asking everyone to register in advance. Please bring your ticket on your phone with you. We ask that you only book tickets for up to 4 people each, and if you can't make it for any reason, please either pass the ticket to a friend or e mail us at info@avalancheacademy.com as soon as possible.
