2026 Avena Maryland Italian Festival

Join us for three days of fun Italian-style!
The Avena Maryland Italian Festival is a three-day event featuring carnival rides, live music, bocce tournaments, fireworks, street chalk art, glassblowing lessons, Military Appreciation Night, regional retail and business vendors, Italian sports cars, a Heritage Village with cooking demonstrations and wine tastings, puppet shows, Italian history talks, roaming cartoon characters, and, of course, an extensive Italian food court.
All net proceeds support regional charities funded by the Society of Italian American Businessmen.
