Training course (including annual pool membership) 2025

Purchasing pool membership includes a place on the mandatory resuscitation training course, required annually to be completed by one adult for all memberships. The price covers both training and membership for the 2025 season.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS (UPDATED FOR 2025) & PRICING 

Three types of pool memberships are available:

• Family membership
  1 to 2 adults + child(ren): £70 per year + £1.88 booking fee.
  Purchasing Family membership entitles you to up to two training places.  After purchasing the family membership you will be given an access code which will allow you to book another training place free of charge. To accompany children to the pool independently you must have completed a training course. You can book the 2nd training place either on the same date or on a different date. Please note: it is important when booking the 2nd training place that you enter the details of the person attending the training session.
• *NEW* Single Parent Family membership
  1 adult + child(ren): £56 per year + £1.67 booking fee.
  This membership is available only to households with one adult. It is not for households with two adults where only one plans to use the pool. The Parish Council introduced this discount in response to feedback from single-parent households with a single income to ensure fairer pricing.
  
• Single Adult membership
  For individual adults only (no children). £40 per year + £1.42 booking fee.
  If you are a household with two adults and no children please purchase a family membership. 

Before 22nd April, pool membership is only available to residents of Aveton Gifford or those with children attending the village's primary or pre-school. Applications will be checked for eligibility. If you don’t meet the criteria, your membership and training booking will be refused and fully refunded. From 22nd April, membership will be open to everyone.

RESUSCITATION TRAINING SESSIONS

Training sessions take place before the pool opens for the 2025 season on the following dates and times:

• Thursday, 24 April – 7:30 pm in the hall
• Saturday, 26 April – 9:30 am in the hall
  
• Thursday, 1 May – 7:30 pm in the Church
• Thursday, 8 May – 7:30 pm in the hall
• Saturday, 10 May – 9:30 am in the hall
• Thursday, 22 May – 7:30 pm in the hall
• Saturday, 24 May – 9:30 am in the hall

GUEST POLICY

This year we are allowing each membership to take up to 4 visiting guests. One adult who has completed the mandatory resuscitation course must be present at all times. Adult to child ratios must always be observed please for both your own household swims, and also when taking extra guests.
